o Dust the area with a contrasting color of powder. For example, you could use a black carbon/charcoal mix for a light surface and an aluminum dust for dark surfaces.
o Gently brush or blow the dust off. Avoid damaging the print by using short and gentle brushstrokes in the direction of the ridges.
o Lift the print onto an index card - Carefully cover the print with tape, making sure it is flat and has no air bubbles.
o Carefully pull off the tape from the top and stick on the index card.
Your whole fingerprinting section looks and sounds good, I like how you use the bulleted lists. It makes everything easier to read.
